SEDAR+ quarterly update details
The latest quarterly update to SEDAR+ was released on September 21, 2026. It includes the enhancements and issue corrections outlined below.
Functionality issues fixed
Report of Exempt Distribution (Form 45-106F1)
- Corrected Item 9(a) of the 45-106F1 form and Schedule 2 to properly display corporate promoter information
System enhancements
Fee Summary Page for filings with no fees
- Added a zero-fee summary page for filings that do not trigger fees prior to submission
Report of Exempt Distribution (45-106F1)
- Updated hint text in the Documents upload step to clarify which documents may be uploaded as additional documents or incorporated by reference
Profile view
- Removed profile status (private or public) from the public profile views to eliminate confusion with reporting issuer status
New CIX Trading Exchange
- Added CIX Trading Inc. to the list of Canadian exchanges
- Updated the default publication time for Cease Trade Orders to align with the CIX Trading operating hours
Fee updates
British Columbia
- Updated Annual Information Forms filing fee calculations in British Columbia based on investment fund category
Reporting Issuer Status Reminder
The CSA continues to recommend that all filers validate their issuer profile(s) to confirm that the correct reporting issuer status is set. Note that financial disclosure alerts are no longer being sent for any investment fund or corporate issuer profiles where the reporting issuer status is set to ‘No’.
