User Accessibility
The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) is committed to meet the accessibility needs of persons with disabilities. In keeping with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act of 2005. SEDAR+ adheres to the World Wide Web Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.0 Level of AA accessibility standards to meet AODA compliance, which is the standard in Canada. SEDAR+
SEDAR+ has been designed to support user accessibility for individuals with disabilities in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act of 2005. For more information on the law for accessible websites and web content, click on the following external link and see section 14 of Ontario Regulation 191/11: Integrated Accessibility Standards. This law states that designated public sector organizations, such as the CSA, must ensure that their websites conform to the World Wide Web Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, initially at Level A and increasing to Level AA. Help Centre Web Site
The Help Centre web site (i.e. this site) has been developed with user accessibility in mind as well. For instance, detailed alternate text accompanies all screenshots, allowing screen readers for the visually impaired to convey visual information.
