SEDAR+ quarterly update details
The latest quarterly update to SEDAR+ was completed on June 22, 2026. It includes fixes for reported user experience issues and updates as noted below.
Functionality issues fixed
Report of Exempt Distribution (45-106F1)
- Schedule 2 displays the entered province instead of defaulting to “CA”
Participation Fee Forms
- Generated forms display the formal submission date instead of the draft date
Granting Authority to a Profile
- Resolved an intermittent issue that prevented some users from adding their organization when granting or revoking profile authorization
Filing Authority
- Implemented fixes to prevent loss of filing authority for previously for submitted filings
System enhancements
System performance
- Applied performance improvements to reduce system timeouts and improve IFM lookup responsiveness on investment fund profiles
Password expiry notifications
- Updated notification timing and frequency
Reporting Issuer List
- Added CUSIP column; exported file includes generation timestamp
Profiles – filing tab
- Removed requirement to enter leading zero when viewing and filtering by Filing ID on a profile’s Filings tab
Third Party Filings and Securities Acquisitions filings
- Updated “Name of offeree issuer” hint text to clarify that this lookup includes both public and authorized private profiles
Fee updates
Quebec
- Updated fees payable for securities and derivatives sectors (For your information, please note that the proposed amendments are also intended to recalibrate and update certain fees prescribed by the Derivatives Act, which are not payable using SEDAR+)

- Additional fees charged per each new class/series of securities in security offerings filings
Multiple jurisdictions
- Corrected fee calculation to apply charges when adding a jurisdiction to an Amended Report of Exempt Distribution
Reporting Issuer Status Reminder
The CSA continues to recommend that all filers validate their issuer profile(s) to confirm that the correct reporting issuer status is set. Note that financial disclosure alerts are no longer being sent for any investment fund or corporate issuer profiles where the reporting issuer status is set to ‘No’.
